A high quality 70% Wool and 30% Polyester mix fabric that has a soft brushed surface.
Melton cloth is traditionally made of wool and is woven in a twill form. It is thick, due to having been well fulled, which gives it a felt-like smooth surface. It is napped and very closely sheared.
Its thickness makes it great for winter coats and warm blazers, but also for A-line skirts and also craft such as wool cushions, wool appliqué, and more.
This fabric is 150cm wide (60″) and sold in increments of Half Metre and Metre.
Add these to your basket to build your required length.
Multiple purchases will ALWAYS be cut as one full length from the bolt and NOT as individual pieces.
Postage
We always aim to post your items on the same day you have ordered them, providing you order before 1pm Monday- Friday. Any orders placed after 1pm on a Friday, or at the weekend, will be posted on the Monday. Any orders placed over a Bank holiday weekend will be posted on the Tuesday.
All of our UK parcels are sent by Royal Mail on a 2ndclass service which takes approximately 2-3 workings days to arrive once dispatched. If you require your items quickly then you can upgrade your postage upon checkout. We offer Royal Mail 1stclass or a 24-hour courier service if booked before 12pm (Monday to Friday).
International parcels are sent by a Standard International Service with Royal Mail. International parcels usually take between 3 and 10 working days to arrive depending on the country and customs.
