25mm wide pre-folded bias cut binding. It is 25mm in its folded state as shown in the photo.
Machine washable up to 40 degrees and medium heat iron.
Please note this item has joins like any other bias binding tape.
Bias tape or bias binding is a narrow strip of fabric, typically plain weave, cut on the bias. As the weave of fabric is at a 45 degree angle, the resulting fabric strip is stretchier than a strip cut on the grain. The strip also has a better drape, and conforms to curves better than fabric cut on the grain.
Sew on to finish raw edges, bias tape is cut so that it is flexible and can curve round edges easily.
Bias binding can be used for binding quilts. around bibs and potholders, lots of crafting projects and also dressmaking in the place of facings or edging.
